REBECCA TAYLOR

An architect and Partner at JTP, Rebecca has over 20 years' experience in designing and delivering residential and mixed-use neighbourhoods, in the UK and internationally. Having worked confidently across a range of scales, from strategic masterplanning to detailed residential design, she focuses on the special and unique qualities of each project and using these to create memorable and distinctive placemaking proposals. Within JTP Rebecca is responsible for driving forward the sustainability agenda and exploring how sustainable masterplanning principles can be embedded projects. As part of this, she has developed a series of principles around Healthy Placemaking, exploring the role of design in creating healthy places. She has also been championing nature-led design that considers biodiversity net gain and urban greening from the very early design stages, to make sure that new development creates the right habitats for both people and wildlife.
