The Hull Citywide Developer Partnership (HCDP) is an innovative housing development collaboration and consists of housing developers Keepmoat Homes, Strata Homes along with affordable housing provider Home Group Limited, commercial property specialists Priority Space and Hull City Council as the client. HCDP are delivering one of Hull’s largest, most widespread, and longest housing regeneration programmes, bringing private investment to more than £500 million to the area over a 13-year period. Working collaboratively with Hull City Council, the Citywide project will provide 4000 much needed mixed tenure new homes, employment and training opportunities and inward investment to the city through developing land owned by the Council. The partnership has key social & economic outputs and KPI’s including delivering 85 per cent local labour and over 300 apprenticeship opportunities throughout the development, ensuring that true inward investment, economic growth and sustainability are achieved. The Partnership are Business Angels in the city and provide substantial investment into activities and projects that promote the city and region as a tourist destination and vibrant place to live and work.
•To date the partnership has committed/completed schemes, unlocking 1525 new homes of which 347 affordable homes (23%). With more in the pipeline. •It has supported 44 traineeship placements with 11 of these progressing onto apprenticeships •Created 132 apprenticeships (FTE) •Sustained 811 jobs (1 year FTE). •Local labour is currently 65% and increasing •35% of contractors used are from the local area. •The partnership has generated £16,265,199 in additional social value for the city through its activities
