Heinz is a former Director of Jestico + Whiles and has particular expertise in sustainable design,housing and education projects. He believes passionately in the considered use of the earth's natural resources to create architecture which is enduring, delightful and socially responsible. He is committed to a design philosophy which places the human experience at its core and has the power to create transformational places.

What top tip would you give to this year's entrants? 

Entries should convey the essential challenges of the project, the creative response and the qualities that are demonstrated in the outcome. Clear, concise and easily read visual and written material that can be readily understood is critical.
