The Cambridge Investment Partnership: Innovation & Collaboration

The Hill Group

: Allies and Morrison

The dynamic partnership between The Hill Group and Cambridge City Council is enabling the delivery of 500 new affordable homes across Cambridge. Working together closely as a team, The Cambridge Investment Partnership is committed to creating special and socially inclusive places to live, the first of which to have had homes for sale and to come to market is Ironworks.

Comprising 238 contemporary apartments and houses in a popular area of the city, 50 per cent of the homes at Ironworks are available for affordable social rent through the council. These homes are integrated seamlessly, with no distinction between tenures. The Hill Group’s trail-blazing approach to collaborative working is integral to the Council’s regeneration of Cambridge. The forward-thinking partnership unites the best of public and private sector expertise, combining the complementary skills of each. The Hill Group brings investment, commercial and financial expertise together with extensive experience in property as one of the leading developers in London and the South East. Cambridge City Council brings strong strategic and political links, and inherent understanding of public sector-led housing delivery and the needs of the community. Together they have delivered huge benefits for local people, providing high quality, sustainable and affordable homes in cohesive communities, to tackle the city’s housing crisis.
