Little Venice, London

Designed by Woulfe

This Little Venice period conversion underwent a full makeover. Tired interiors with fantastic potential were lifted and given a refreshed lease of life. Emphasis was placed on sourcing and producing products locally. All joinery and upholstery pieces were produced in the UK with most being produced in London.

As this was viewed as a once in a generation refurbishment great importance was placed on improving the acoustic and insulation performance of the property. We focused heavily on lighting and technology, enlisting home automation and acoustic specialists to ensure sleek, easy, and intuitive technical design. From the intercom doorbell to the lighting, heating, security, sound systems and blinds, everything is simple to use and automated to fit around the owner’s lifestyle. We coordinated the design schemes from room to room to ensure synchronicity and cohesiveness between spaces. High-end, high-spec interiors still feel lived in and personable. All of the paints used across the property were sourced from Argile, a French eco-responsible paint manufacturer. The property’s interiors were enriched with specialist wall and joinery finishes. We worked with Benjamin Rayond Decorative Atelier to give the wall panelling in the hallways an elegant & luxurious finish. Cabinets in the kitchen were given a hand-painted pitted champagne liquid leaf finish while the bio ethanol fireplace with a Calacatta Viola marble surround in the living room pops against the hand dragged linen finish on the walls. The ensuite features a stunning hand-painted sun kissed cloud mural on the walls to create a total zen experience.
