A comprehensive internal refurbishment of an apartment located in a traditional residential block. The core of the brief was to create a calm and tranquil sanctuary, which was realised through a minimalist design language, featuring simplified architectural details and a carefully chosen palette of soft, elegant materials. We successfully overcame significant technical and building management complexities to create a large open-plan area for kitchen, dining, and living which boasts windows on three sides, ensuring balanced daylight throughout the day and a much better connection to the outdoors. The result is a truly exceptional apartment that is at once modern and fresh, and wonderfully calming and peaceful.
