Felicie Krikler

Director , Assael Architecture

A Director at award-winning architecture practice Assael Architecture, Felicie's portfolio covers a broad cross-section of residential, mixed-use and co-location schemes, specialising in urban regeneration. Alongside her day-to-day project work, Felicie leads on several of Assael's in-house research initiatives, notably Assael's wellbeing design codes, high street revival, sustainability and intergenerational housing. She was also part of the RIBA group that created the Social Value Toolkit, industry guidance which can be used to measure the social value of architecture and its long-term contribution to community, and co-led the practice's competition-winning commission for a highly-sustainable later living scheme as part of the Meridian Water masterplan in Enfield. Felicie's latest research work takes a lens to the circularity of the design process, where she has been leading a series of post-occupancy evaluations to enhance the resident experience. In her experience, growth and innovation in the architecture and construction sectors comes from a full appreciation of how buildings perform compared to their design intention.
