Ashwin Goyal

Associate Director , AHMM

Ashwin Goyal is an architect with over 20 years of experience, working with a variety of scales, budgets, sectors which include residential, commercial, aviation, interior design, and master planning. Currently, he is the Associate Director at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM), where he has lead on and developed projects such as Bream Street (Lock No. 19), a mixed-use residential-led regeneration development in Fish Island, London, and The Rowe, an office led development in Whitechapel, London. At AHMM , Ashwin also leads up the EDI external engagement working group which includes developing relationships with external organisations such as the RIBA, ARB, Paradigm, Blueprint for All, Architecture Foundation, BITC, and others. Recently, he is also leading up a social value working group to develop an inhouse toolkit. He also recently joined AHMM's people board to advise and contribute in the strategic development of the practices culture, staff, and recruitment. He is also part of the management group at the Architecture Race Forum which brings together over 50 practices in the UK to improve EDI in the profession. Recently, Ashwin also joined the RIBA EDI Leaders Action Group in 2023. Ashwin also is active in academia as a regular critic at the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff for Unit XX. He also contributes to local planning authorities as a member of Brent's Quality Review Panel. Lastly, in 2020, 2021, and 2023, Ashwin was a judge for the British Home Awards.
