Alex Luria

Alex Luria is an Associate at Jestico + Whiles, where he leads a diverse portfolio of residential and mixed-use developments across London. With over 16 years of experience in sustainable housing design, Alex has led several major estate regeneration projects, and is a passionate advocate for ensuring that the voices of existing and future residents shape the design process. Among his completed projects is the The Pavilions, a previous British Homes Awards Development of the Year winner.

What are you most looking forward to about judging this year's British Homes Awards, and as a judge, what are you looking for in the work?

I'm looking forward to exploring the breadth of creative, thoughtful work being produced across the UK - by both established and emerging designers - who continue to push boundaries and deliver inspiring residential architecture, even in the face of today's complex development challenges. It's especially exciting to see the full spectrum of emerging forms of housing - innovative typologies and delivery models to new approaches to affordability, sustainability, and community building.
