Lighting is treated as part of the architecture rather than an added layer, helping the home feel functional, composed and comfortable in use.
Judges praised the inventive plan form, the control of daylight and material expression, and the quality of craftsmanship throughout. The most consistent positive view was that Green Lodge feels well judged, elegantly detailed and highly liveable, with joinery and layout working together to deliver a sophisticated domestic environment.
