Brilliant decision to keep the original steel roof as the internal finish. The earthy but pastel palette of materials works really well inside and out. The informal landscaping matches the barn well. All done on a tight budget. Real care and consideration in every element. Modest in appearance but spatially uplifting inside. I would really love to visit this house; a brilliant and pretty well faultless transformation.

Retention of the internal barn roof structure is interesting and provides a lovely double height interesting rood form internally. The interiors are calm and contemporary within the home. Really good approach to environmental credentials with high performing fabric.
