Judges highlighted the scheme's apparent contribution to regeneration and its ability to create a distinctive living environment with strong connectivity to nearby destinations and local activity.

White City has a good presentation, showing a range of spaces, with photographs that actually explain the scheme. The landscaping is truly integrated, and the inclusion of water is a positive, helping with passive cooling through evaporation as well. This is the first time I've seen community and amenities properly evidenced in a submission. Bravo.

The masterplan has over eight acres of landscaped gardens and parks. The use of water and Japanese style planting is quite reminiscent of the local Holland Park. Planting is mature and generous. The varied gardens reflecting the sites history for exhibitions lifts the quality of the setting.
