This family house is an exciting and bold alternative to conventional suburban architecture. From the front, the home presents a strong public face, while to the rear it appears light and open with its projecting canopies. The design uses a restrained palette of materials that includes water-struck grey brick and white-stained cedar cladding. “Exceptionally well designed, beautifully detailed and very liveable,” said the British Homes Awards judging panel.
