Shauna was made a Director in 2019 having joined Glenn Howells Architects in 2010. She studied at Queen's University Belfast and Birmingham City University's School of Architecture and Design, where she also completed a MA Urban Design. Shauna has extensive Masterplanning and urban design experience and has played a key role on a number of large-scale regeneration projects, in various sectors. She has been involved in Argent's Paradise, a contemporary multi-purpose business quarter in the heart of Birmingham, the development of Port Loop with Urban Splash and Places for People, as well as the transformation of St Pauls Quarter, a 4 acre site within Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter and Ballymore's London City Island, a thriving new residential-led riverside community on the peninsula between the River Lea and the Thames. In addition, Shauna is currently delivering One Centenary Way - the first building within the second phase of the Paradise redevelopment - which has had to address a number of significant below-ground constraints, largely the A38 Queensway Tunnel, which runs directly underneath the building and will remain active throughout the construction and future occupation of the building. She enjoys taking an active role in working with local university students and is on the Birmingham Civic Society Planning Committee.
